Salsa, Not The Dance, But Feel Free To Do That While Making This!!

Salsa, One of the things I love to add to my pre and post workout meals for a little more flavour and some extra veggies. It really makes everything taste better and its stupid easy to make. If you don't like salsa, that makes me uncomfortable. Let's get past that... Here is the recipe that will change your meals, and maybe your life!

Salsa (Mild) you can make it spicy by adding stuff to it!

you're going to need a large pot, a large spoon, a stove, a place for your stove, and the ingredients listed below.

-8 cups skinned tomatoes - coarse chop, I like to use frozen tomatoes, makes it easier to take the skin off em

-1/2 cup chopped Jalepeno peppers - take the seeds out, and dice em up

- 2 green peppers - or two of any peppers you like, again take out the seeds and dice em up

-1.5 cups chopped onions - I prefer red onions, watch your fingers!

- 3 cloves garlic - Chop it up! You're welcome, im saving you from Dracula! Thank me later.

- one 5oz can of tomato paste

- 2 tbsp brown sugar - you can never be too sweet ;)

- 1 tbsp salt

- 2 tsp paprika

- 1 tsp ground coriander or 2 tbsp fresh cilantro

- 1 tsp oregano

After you've gently thrown all the stuff into your pot, turn your burner on high until your salsa is boiling, then turn it down to a simmer. I have no idea how long its going to take, for all I know you're doing this over a fire in the woods. Cook down the salsa until its the thickness you want. I prefer my salsa to be chunky so I leave mine on for longer than normal... just don't burn it... its hard to clean out of a pot.
