Our Final Invention by: Jamed Barrat. This book is something that'll make you think about what your computer, and phone, and it'll make you really keep an eye on that damn toaster of yours.

Mr. Barrat goes deep into the realm of Artifical Intelligence, the leaders in the field, the invisible people in the background, and organizations that you probably haven't heard of, working on things that most of us probably cant fathom. All throughout the book, Mr. Barrat keeps it so that if you are just you're just the average reader you're not overwhelmed by technical jargon, and keeps it being a page turner.

Personally I found the book to be a view into a possible world ending situation that could come to be in my life time. Reading Mr. Barrat's commentary and the words of the experts that he talked to on the subject we are coming to an end at a fairly fast pace, and that there is so much going on in an area that is not brought up enough on the world scale. Our Final Invention is an excellent book that keeps you thinking the whole way through.

Now I have the doomsday side of Artfical Intelligence, now to find a polarizing view to make an informed decision. But until I read that book... Toaster. I'm watching you.
